由 LEVEL-5 開發，新力電腦娛樂（SCE）發行的 PS3 角色扮演遊戲《白騎士物語 遠古的鼓動（White Knight Chronicles）》，日前於官方網站正式宣布將於今年耶誕節推出，並同步釋出多張新遊戲畫面，供玩家參考。
《白騎士物語 遠古的鼓動》是由曾經手《暗黑編年史》、《勇者鬥惡龍 8》、《俠盜銀河》的 LEVEL-5 製作，以眾多巨獸昂首闊步的中古奇幻世界為舞台，敘述少年獲得古代神秘兵器「白騎士」之力後所展開的冒險。
遊戲採用在同一地圖上進行移動與戰鬥的無接縫設計（應該類似《俠盜銀河》的戰鬥系統吧），透過獨特的「功能板」系統來安排應戰方式，並具備變身為超古代神秘兵器「騎士」對抗龐大怪獸的魄力演出。提供強大的角色創造系統，玩家可透過豐富的自訂選項來製作出分身角色一同參與冒險。

White Knight Chronicles was created by LEVEL-5 (the studio who create, dragon quest 8, rogue galaxy), and distribute by SCE. The story is about a teenager who obtain an ancient weapon "white knight" and his adventures.
The battle system takes place on the same map as the one that you walk around in; there's no loading screen or separate battle sequences (i think should be about the same as the "rouge galaxy"). You will need to set up your combos before engaging in combos. This can be done in the pause menu. And also the player would be able to use the power of the ancient weapon to transform to "knight" to fight with the larger beast. Before you play, you have to select a character from a list of eight. In the final game, you'll be able to create your own character.
